Torn ligament in my foot, what should I do about school?!

Question: Torn ligament in my foot, what should I do about school!?
Okay, so I twisted my ankle badly, got it x-rayed, but it turns out that I tore a ligament on the lower side of my right foot, not in the ankle!. My ankle is completely fine, but it's the foot that hurts, between the pinky and fourth toe!.
This happened three and a half weeks ago!. On the surface of my foot, I can still see the bruising, and it's painful when I put my weight on it!.
The Doctor told me that it will take 10 weeks (ouch) to heal, and that I must elevate it a lot and put ice for 15 minutes everyday!.
I know how to guide it to healing, but here's the real problem:
I am currently a GCSE student who knows that it is crucial to attend school at all times!. I have taken some days off, but when I have to go school, I am afraid that when I walk (it's still quite painful) I am worstening the ligament tear!. Is this true!?
And there is no where to elevate my foot (everytime I try and put my foot up, someone wants the bloody chair -_-') Am I hurting it's chances to heal!?
Do you guys have any advice on what I should do about school!? You're help would be greatly appreciated to help me out of this predicament!. Thanks so much!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Get some crutches or a cane !.!.!. it's a visible signal that you are wounded!.

And if some idiot wants to take the chair, tell him you have to keep the foot elevated : then hit him with the cane!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First get yourself a pair of crutches or a wheelchair!. You can rent both!. Some wheelchairs have foot rests that elevate!. If you can rent one of these, you would not need a chair!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah i think you should get some crutches and keep it off the ground, the doctors can't refuse to sell them to you even if they don't let you have them for free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A cane might help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
