Answers:
Shock is a collection of symptoms!. It's characterized by circulatory collapse (absent vascular tone) primarily, depriving your brain, liver and heart of needed blood supply!. This can be due to pain (your blood vessels dilate in response to your autonomic nervous system), blood loss, uncoordinated or absent heart rhythm, sepsis (infection), extreme heat or cold, electrocution or crush injuries!. Generally, people can become shocky from fractures, but whether it's self-limiting or not depends on what other organs may be involved!.
Shock can be fatal or it can spontaneously resolve!. Fatal shock means that your body is no longer able to maintain a blood pressure suitable for keeping your heart, brain and other organs oxygenated!. Septic shock results when a rampant infection produces toxins which cause your organs to fail and makes your circulatory system 'leaky'!.
Symptoms can include, but are not limited to:
Loss of consciousness
Low blood pressure
Cool clammy skin
Weak, thready or irregular pulse
Generalized edema (swelling) also called anasarca
Third space shifting (loss of fluid from your circulatory system into the tissues)
Kidney failure
Liver failure
Pale mucous membranes

Low blood pressure, increased heart rate, and a multitude of other signd aand symptoms, depending on the type of trauma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
