A few questions about scars?!

Question: A few questions about scars!?
I recently had 2 different surgeries and have 3 scars!. Two are on my back from 6 months ago and were healed with stitches!. Only one of those is raised, and it still itches/stings like crazy!. The other is on my breast and closed up on from the inside out over a 3 week span!. It is raised, but that was over a year ago!. I just had a few questions:
1!. What causes them to become raised!?
2!. Will they always be that way!?
3!. Is it normal for them to itch/burn/sting over 1 year later!?

Any useful information appreciated :-) Thanks!

Answers:
1!. Not sure!. Will look it up in a minute :)

2!. I fell off a bed when I was 3 and had stitches in the back of my head!. That scar is still raised, so I am guessing they will always be that way, but maybe it depends on the person!.

3!. Every now and then my scar itches, and that has been 12 years ago!

This is what I found for your first question, but I will keep looking for a better explanation!.
"Raised scars
This is the second most common reason for presentation to this practice!. Raised scars are the result of poor wound healing that may be due to external factors or internal factors!. Some people produce raised scars in all their wounds, these patients are referred to as keiloid formers and clearly they have internal factors at play!. Other people develop raised scars because the skin may have been excessively traumatised, an infection may have formed during healing or the wound edges may have been under excessive tension!."
