Broken ankle and no physio recommended what do you think?!

Question: Broken ankle and no physio recommended what do you think!?
My question pretty much says it all but here is a bit more of my story!.!.!.
I fell down our basement stairs and broke my right ankle right by the bones that stick out August 13th had to have surgery to have plates and screws put in August 15th!. I ended up with a plate on each side and two screws on the inside of my ankle and 6 on the outer side!.
I got out of my wheel chair October 10th I think it was and then walked two weeks with crutches and my air cast Boot still on then two weeks with nothing but my boot and now I am weaning myself off the boot!.
I was not given physio nor was it recommended but I wonder if I shouldn't`t have it because I can only move my ankle a tiny bit my foot can only go up and down a bit and not side to side and when I walk I walk with my foot turned out and I sometimes forget how to walk I almost trip!.
What do you think
And have you ever been through this, if so how long till it`s `normal`again

Answers:
Can you tell me if you still have the screws and plates in there!? I'm guessing yes!. And until they are still in there it is a bit risky for you to get physio treatment, because it may disturb the bone growth!. Remember that the plates and screws are in there to keep the bone(fragments) together so that you can heal properly!. When that is over, they will operate again to take out the plate and screws and then you can get physio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
