Persistent migraine with neck pain. What is it?!

Question: Persistent migraine with neck pain!. What is it!?
For the last couple of days I have been fighting off a persistent, very light sensitive migraine!. Now, not only do I have the normal migraine pains, which have been slightly dulled my my imitrex, but the pain has moved to the base of my skull and top of my neck!. What is this!? I've never had this pain in association with a migraine before (I usually only get this type of headache/neck pain if I drink alcohol after not drinking for a while)!. Note: There is no stiffness in my neck!.

Any ideas!?

Thanks in advance,

You should go to a neurologist!. It could be a number of things, could be a tension headache and in this case if all the medications don't help they can even do novocaine shots which numb the nerves that cause pains!. Or it could be reaction on something that you consume, could be wine, caffein or processed food!. I started having migraines about two years ago, and imitrex wasn't really helping (just maybe took the edge off)!. After watching carefully I came up with two solutions that help me!. First - I have to really "block" myself from whatever problems worry me at the moment (I tell myself - I'll think about later) And secondly - I switch to completely natural food!. No processed foods at all!. I eat plain oatmeal porrige for breakfest, lots of fresh vegetables, almost without salt, fresh fruit!. Both of these things get rid of migraine in about 3 to 4 days!.
Also you need to go to chiropractor!. Your spine might be misaligned from let's say looking at your computer screen at the wrong angle every day, and it can push on some nerves that cause the headache!. Chiropractor will do an x-ray and have an answer about it in a matter of minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe its stress!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
