T!.M!.J or T!.M!.D- Temporomandibular Joint Disease!. You may grind your teeth at night w/o realizing it!. Ask your Dentist about seeing a specialist!.

I had surgery after a car accident and it really helped (the jaw at least)!. So if you experience painful episodes you should definitely consider surgery as a viable option (depending on the problem of course!.!.)!.

Faith is correct as I have this!.

My dentist has given me exercises which can help with the problem but if that fails she has said that surgery may help but generally not much difference is made!.

I have also experienced "jaw lock" when I can't move my jaw until it locks into place again with a loud click!.

Contact your dentist and ask for help!. Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

As Jonathan says, nothing to worry about!.
If it's really bothering you or if your jaw dislocates (and cracks back into place) you could consult your doc!. This very temporary dislocation can be sorted with a small "tightening" op!. but it usually sorts itself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Geez,I understsnd this!.!.!.I yawned during a psychology lecture{sez it all, huh!?} and dislocated my jaw too!.Went to college doc & he quickly slid it back in place!.Whew!

Yes,it did crack for a year afterwards when I shouted!.This was hard as it was my first year teaching!.My students got an early warning of my pretend anger!

It WILL go away!.Were you in a real tedious lecture of late!?
