What can I do about being so tender headed?!

Question: What can I do about being so tender headed!?
Whenever I wear my hair up, even if it isn't for long, it gets so sore and I get a terrible headache!

I have to wear my hair in a ponytail every other day for work, it's only for 4 hours but by the time I'm 2 hours in, I have an excruciating headache and my scalp is super sore!. Headache medicine helps for a little while, but it always comes back!. (it obviously doesnt help the soreness though!.)

What can I do!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
wow!. this is different!. i have heard of extremely tender headed and head sore from wearing a ponytail for a long time but this is slightly different!.
a few points:
every person has a different level of how tender their scalp is!. some being more tender and some not at all!. however, stress levels have some to do with how tender your scalp is making you more or less tender headed!. if you have a weak immune system or have some types of depression this can also affect how tender the scalp is!. also something as simple as loosening your ponytail a bit or changing the types of rubber bands can help!. instead, try using a scrunchiie!. putting your hair in a bun can help take some of the weight off of a hanging hair because the longer the hair is the heavier!. this can cause soreness for a tender head!. putting your hair in a ponytail alot can also cause breakage and make your hair unhealthy contributing to stress that affects the tenderness!. try putting your hair in a higher of lower ponytail looser than what you have been!. another way to prevent pulling is putting your hair up with bobby pins instead of bands or scrunchiies!. that makes a world of difference!. if you have your hair in a ponytail and it is pulled very tight where your temples are(on the sides of the face by the eyes) this will definately give you a headache!.

i hope this helps youWww@Answer-Health@Com

take advil, use a soft scruchie (like those big fabric scrunchies so they don't pull tightly) and put it in a low ponytail when you have to!. I used to have this and I think it was due to lack of sleep, so try getting a good nights sleep as well!. Hope it helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

does it have to be a tight ponytail!?
if not, try to loosen it as much as you can!.
another thing, if your hair is very soft I can't imagine that happening so have you tried some good shampoo/conditioner!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

wear a loose ponytail!.
or just make sure ur hair is really conditioned
if it still doesn't go away just take some advil before work!.
:D good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
