Question: Causes of Eye and Ear Pain!? PLEASE HELP!!?
Hi,
I am a hypochondriac!. I have been DIAGNOSED!. None the less, I have a question and nobody will listen to me, because they always think I am imagining everything!.
Last night I got a really strong pain behind my left eye!. It only lasted for 10 seconds, and then it went away!. It came back again a few times lasting for 10 seconds or less!. It felt ok inbetween!. I didn't worry about it very much last night, becuase my nose was kind of stuffed up, so I thought it was just a sinus thing!. But when I woke up this morning, it was still happening!. Now it lasts less than a second, and the pain is very minor, seriously a 1/10!. My ears have also been bothering me ever so slightly for the last few days!. I have no sore throat, and my nose has been stuffed up only fleetingly, maybe 1% of the time!. I do not have a fever, unless you call 98!.6-99!.0 a fever (yeah, I took my temperature like 100 times)!. Do you think I could have a brain tumor!? NObody will take me to the doctor, and I don't have health insurance!. I always think I have a brain tumor, and the last time I had a MRI of my head was in 2002!. Please dont' say anything scary unless you really know what you're talking about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you don't!. You have a head cold!. Stop thinking about what hurts and what doesn't!. The more you think "oh god that hurts!.!." your going to believe it hurts!. Stop! You are fine, you don't have a brain tumor!. People won't take you, because you "always" think you have one!. Therefore you are essentially crying wolf!.
Edit: Then you need to stop crying wolf (i know it really isn't your fault, so don't think im being rude) give it a week or so, see how it goes!. Wrap up warm so you don't get a chill!. If it doesn't go THEN see a doctor!. Just dont storm in about a brain tumor!!! Tell him what the issue is, then he'll listen more!.

No you don't!. You have a head cold!. Stop thinking about what hurts and what doesn't!. The more you think "oh god that hurts!.!." your going to believe it hurts!. Stop! Well if you are a hypochondriac you'll love this link,,, it will provide you with hours and hours of diagnosing yourself!. But it is far better than 'hoping' to get a good answer from just anyone with a computer and access to Yahoo Answers!.

OH geez, get a grip!. Have you seriously thought about talking to a therapist!? I'm being absolutely straight with you here!. What you have is a real mental condition!. About the pain!.!.!. it happens!. You could have a little inflammation in your sinuses!.!.!. and the nerve that's in your sinuses connects to your eye AND your ear!.
I'd just make sure you're drinking lots of water, take a little decongestant and call it a day!. And PLEASE think about talking to someone!.!.!. a friend of mine nearly drove herself crazy thinking she had anything from lyme disease to brain tumors every time she had a pain!. She is perfectly healthy!. Just realize that everyone gets pains!.!.!. you're NORMAL!. I promise!! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
