How can i get the hospital to put a cast on my hand n arm?!
Question: How can i get the hospital to put a cast on my hand n arm!?
i really badly hurt my Hand a few days ago i had it xrayed but there was no breakage or fracture the hospital did nothing else for me now its still really badly hurting because i keep banging it on things by accident ive put bandages on to cushion it but it still hasn't protected it so is it possible to ask for a cast to be put on for protection!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'd like the cast for about 12 hours until it started to itch,, your arm would start to hurt,, and you'd being begging to get it taken off,,, you need to learn to trust doctors,, if you needed the protection they would have gladly put a cast on you and billed you,,, they don't miss those chances!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I injured my arm really badly, the hospital wrapped my arm with an ace bandage and then gave me a sling!.
By wearing a sling, your are less likely to bang your arm!. In fact, the sling constantly reminds you not to use it!. Take it off every few hours so your shoulder and arm do not stiffen up!.
A doctor will not place a cast onto your arm unless an xray showed a fracture or a severe sprain--it's costly!.
You may want to also try using ice packs to keep the swelling down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
