Answers:
It's possible to break bones in all sorts of ways and if you had enough force behind your fall then yes you could possibly break it the way you describe!.

I've been researching this topic a lot lately, after smashing my shoulder into a door frame and if it's broken, it'll swell up and go purple or red!. You will experience numbness most like and movement will be pretty much impossible!.

It's worth bearing in mind that you can have a nasty injury and lots of pain WITHOUT a break!. I had 48 hours of constant severe pain with mine (and it still hurts 1 week on) but my doctor confirmed it's just muscle damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well of course you CAN, it's possible, it just depends on how hard you hit it! lol If it swells up, gets purple immediately (within an hour), or you can feel the bones/fingers themselves moving around in abnormal directions there's a good chance it's broken!. It could also be just bruised, and could turn purple if you broke a small capillary (vein)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's possible, but i am telling you ive broken my arm into pieces i had to go into surgery and everything and it is the worst pain, i have never been through more pain in my life! If you can touch it and move your fingers you should be fine! but of you're really worried there is no harm in getting an x-ray to check it out, you could possibly have a hairline fracture
bye !.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a simple twisting injury can cause one of the metacarple bones to break in your hand, like the bone behind your pinky finger that is on the back of your hand, and connects to the arc that makes up the lower wrist!.structure!. painfulWww@Answer-Health@Com
