How can you tell if your hand is fractured or broken?!

There are alot ot symptoms, like: Pain when putting pressure on the site!. Swelling, discoloring or bruising around the injury site!. There is abnormal movement of the "broken" bone, sometimes deformity- severe cases!. Don't have full range of motion in that hand!. The way you know for sure is to have an x-ray done!. But more than likely it's fractured or broken if you experienced a snapping or popping sensation in the affected bone!. You should wrap it with a compression wrap-ace bandage-not to tight!. Ice if so the swelling goes down some, elevate above heart!. And get an x-ray just to be sure!. Hope this helps
