Codeine vs ibuprofen?!

Question: Codeine vs ibuprofen!?

So, i just got my wisdom teeth poped out this morning, and they gave me codeine and ibuprofen!.

So, narcotics mess with your head and make you THINK youre not in pain, but ibuprofen actually eases the pain, right!?

So, why do they give you both!? Im not really getting the difference, haha!.

and what are some things i can eat besides pudding and yogurt today!? like, more filling things!?

Ibuprofen reduces inflammation and swelling, which will address some of the pain!. You've had tissue torn and nerves separated, so there's a little more to the pain than inflammation!. That's what the codeine is for!. Take them as prescribed and you should feel better in 2-3 days!.
