Question: How long does it take to recover from a pulled muscle!?
i put my leg straight up in the air and was doing a trick but i heard a rip and i noticed i pulled the hamstring in my right leg!. i have dance tomorrow and really need to be able to do my splits!. will this be gone by tomorrow!? what can i do to help it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the severity, when working out it takes me about 3 days to recover!. If you have the money, go and buy some glutamate powder which helps your body recover!. Salmon is also good if you don't mind eating fish as it has anti inflammatory properties!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you felt a rip in your hamstring, this could mean you have torn it!. And im sorry but if you have done this then you wont be dancing tomorrow! Hamstring tears can take (similar to other muscle tears) can take between 4-6 weeks to heal adequately!.
For initial treatment to give you the best possible outcome keep the leg stretched out (knee at 180 degrees) and apply ice to the area for 15-20minutes!. Repeat this every hour!. I wouldn't be stretching the area if it is torn!. RICE is the key now - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation!.
If not better in 2 days, go see a physiotherapist ASAP!.
