Question: I'm Having severe pains in my left Knee!?
almost every night now, and periodically through the day, i get these severe pains, almost like a cramp or a charlie horse in my left knee!. its hurting me really badly but what do you think it could be from!? They seem to be getting more frequent and longer!. this morning it almost lasted 30 seconds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the pain feels like a muscle cramp, it's very likely that a muscle in your leg is cramping, which can pull on the tendons in the knee!. Muscle tightness can easily pull the kneecap out of alignment!. If this is caused by muscle cramps, you can probably take care of the problem on your own by stretching the knee and taking a magnesium supplement at bedtime!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
The knee joint is particularly vulnerable to strain and injury!. It is a complex joint!. You should see a doctor, of course!. In the meantime take aspirin (with a meal) and apply ice for as long as you can tolerate it!. There is just too much that can go wrong with this joint for anyone here to guess as to what is wrong!. Spasm could be present in response to an injury, new or old!. Could be growing pains!. Will be interesting to see if the Rt!. knee starts up at some point!.
