My 15 year old friend has torticollis?!

Question: My 15 year old friend has torticollis!?
My friend came to school today crying in pain, saying that when she turned her neck, the bone stuck out!. She had to come to school today as we had a GCSE mock but straight after, she went to A&E and the doctor said it was torticollis!. I have no idea what that is but she's really worried and she's in a lot of pain!. Is there anything I can say that would make her get her mind off it!? She's got medicine but that's not helping the pain, is there anything else she could do!? Also, does anyone have any background info on it as all I know is that it usually affects infants or something!. She also read that it could lead to a tumour, is this true!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, torticollis is also known as wry-neck, and is basically a twisting of the neck, resulting in abnormal carriage of the head!.
