Question: Please help me I need advice :(!?
Im 17 and have been smoking for a year!. ( Yes, I know, it was stupid and I really regret my choice!.) I have asthma so it obviously does not do my breathing any good!.!.!.I need help and advice on how to quit, any ways that does not include counseling or Nicotine patches because they don't work!. I really don't want to kill myself with cancer or shorten my life-span by 10 years :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!.maybe instead of focusing on the negative which obviously doesn't feel good!.!.!.how about turning it around as to why you want to quit!? Benefits etc!.!.!. Breathe clearer, have more energy, save money, smell better, open up options for more boyfriends!.!.(as many do not like smokers!) etc!. The fact that you want to will make it do-able!.!.!.some take a few tries to quit!.!.!.but it can be done!
My way may not be the best way!.!.but here's how I did it many yrs ago!. I decided I was quitting!. I then dieted a bit and lost 4-5 lbs!. (nothing major)!. I then picked a day to quit and told myself I would eat what I wanted when I wanted for the first week!. I drank lots of water to flush the nicotene out and also!.!.!.(may not be for you but ya never know) I took up crocheting! (could try knitting) Keeping my hands busy helped alot! I also ate alot of popcorn!.!.!.for a snack when my week of binging was over!.!.!.went for walks etc!.
It can be done!.!.!.pat yourself on the back for every hour, day that you do it and try not to look back! Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
