/the guy that answered your question with a long answer is proably right ( sorry I don't remember his username) it might not help to stretch!. But it could make it feel less painful!. IF you do it right!. You see, I have a serious karate real serious, so they train u HARD! well anyway they mke us do these strecthes that would mae our wrist more flexable!. So I'll give you few!.

1!. make your palm face you, abd take your thumb with your other hand and turn your hand , by ulling your thumb, until your thumb is completly alined with your chest!.and use your other thumb on your other hand left or right doesn't matter, and push the knuckle under your pinky to the same side your hand is!. DOn' do it hard and make sur to do it slowly other wise it would just hurt even more!. I'm sorry I can't be much of a help but I'll you one more!.

2!.This one is simple!. Just face your palm away from yu with your fingers straight up!. then slowly pull your fngers back slowly and don't pul it to far just pull let go pull let go that's it!. Once your doe with it your hands wrist should feel a little more relaxed!.

I hope it won't hurt that much after if it does or hurts more then you should o see a doctor!. Get well sooon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a strain that stretches would likely not help!. The reaon I say that is because you have already stretched your wrist/thumb in such a way that you have damaged the tissue inside!. Stretches will likely only aggravate the situation!. I had some serious pain in my forearms for months from straining them too many times with my job!. The pain lasted MONTHS and never went away!. I finally went to my doctor and he game me NSAIDS which I took for 2 weeks!. I kept working - the day after I started taking them I NEVER felt the pain at all - and when I stopped, the pain was gone! DO NOT take narcotic drugs for the pain!.
I also know some people who have had success with accupuncture for strains like yours!. Some people will tell you it is a waste of money!. I can assure you that accupuncture does work for a lot of people for a lot of things!. You may consider this as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
