I've got a cold, is it necessary to go to the walkin clinic?!

Question: I've got a cold, is it necessary to go to the walkin clinic!?
I think i caught me nieces' cold, the cute little one sneezed on me or so it appeared to be i just started yesterday morning and carried on to today!. I traditionally think that its a cold it will pass just rest and drink bla bla bla, but this morning i find out she has an ear infection, now my parents are telling my go to the clinic, and get penicillin!. I am thinking differently but not itdid get me wondering, i just want to let my body naturally fight this cold and play itself out, i don't really think its good to rely on medication all the time for simple colds, heck when i was 17 i took only Popsicle and sometimes Tylenol, I know the virus genetically modifies itself inside and such, the infection is different in an adult than an infant, but should i go!? honestly please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Wait to see if the cold passes first before going to the doctor!. If you still feel dizzy and your ears hurt with no cold symptoms go to the doc!. Children are more prone to ear infections then adultsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't bother!. The ear infection isn't a result of the cold!. And the odds of you catching an ear infection from being sneezed on are minuscule!.

However, if you're worrying about it then I'd suggest seeing your local GP just for peace of mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doctors can't help with a cold but they can help with an infection!. Until you have one, don't go to the clinic!. It would be a waste of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
