Why did my finger just lock into place?!
Question: Why did my finger just lock into place!?
My index finger suddenly froze in a totally straight postion while I peeled a carrot!. It wouldn't bend upward, so I had to pull back on it!. It feels fine now, but does anyone know what happened!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It seems like a typical and very minor muscle contraction / spasm!. I would not worry about it at all, as long as it's fine now!.
Sometimes after you have put tension on a muscle in one place, this might happen unexpectedly!. This might have also been a twitch or unintentionally influenced action by the brain, but these are usually random occurrences that you have nothing to worry about!.
