My friend has epilepsy and is trying to campaign to get the strobe lights turned off just one night a week!. She has been dismissed a lot and I was wondering if anything could be done!. (This is in the city we are studying in, not the world!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try talking with the management of the club!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

How about going to music/dance bars instead of clubs, they don't usually have strobe lighting!?
I'm sure there are clubs around that don't have strobe lighting, just ring them up and ask before you go, I'm sure your friend isn't the only club going epileptic in the worldWww@Answer-Health@Com

The club would have to have a significant number of epileptic clients to have any chance of them doing this - it just isn't going to happen!. If you are epileptic you just have to stay out of places with flashing lights!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately the majority prevail!. Strobes can only last a maximum of continual 15 seconds!. I would suggest carrying on with the campaign but I don't think you'll get the result you want!.

She should just wear really really dark glasses in the club, like welding glasses!.

Sure the look is abit 80's, but hey, no more fits!

Other than that, just stay home!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They WON'T turn off the strobes!.!.!. if she can't stand them without having FITS!.!.!.then she can STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE CLUBS!.!.!. this is a real brain buster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She can't!. Why don't they turn the music off for people who have sensitive hearing!? EXACTLY!.
