My pet ferret bit me yesterday it slightly pierced the skin and really hurt I almost passed out now it is very swollen and numb and I can't feel it!. I also can't straighten it!. I will see my GP But can you tell me anything else!? ThankyouWww@Answer-Health@Com

i'd say you need a tetnus, when was your last one, who do have to keep them up to stop infections getting in, i've heard ferrets can be very snappy, i would wear some gloves some of those thick builder/gardener gloves just to protect your skin!.

he probably bit into a muscle that doesn't allow you to move the hand!. It will be swollen because white blood cells are trying to get in there and cordon off the infection and close broken tissues!. All you can do is wrap it in a warm towel or put moist heat on it!. take a bath with it in warm water and move the hand slowly to keep the muscles form getting weak!. keep infection out if it is puncture type wound (a deep hole)!. This is the type of wound that gets the most infected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have 2 ferrets, the female bites me A LOT and sometimes won't let go and will draw blood!. It seriously hurts like hell but It's just a ferret bite!. See how you feel in the morning!.
