Question: How do you get a ring off a swollen finger!?
I just got a new ring, size 7!. It wouldn't fit on my pinkey, so I tried the other one, it was easy enough getting it on, but now it won't come off! I tried to pull it off, but thanks to that, now my finger is all swollen, making it even harder to get it off!. Its just kinda puffy and sore above the ring!. I tried icing it for a while, holding it over my head, then putting it under water and using soap, but it still won't come off!
I hear Windex of all things works, but I don't have any!. I have some window cleaner, but not windex!.
Somebody help! I don't want it to be purple or anything tomorrow and have to cut it off!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

cooking oil works great!. pour about 2 tablespoons of it in your hands and start rubbing it around the ring and twist ring around and around so oil can get under it then it should slide offWww@Answer-Health@Com
Well the window cleaner couldn't hurt!. Try cold water and soap (at the same time)!. If that doesn't work and circulation is being compromised (is it just on your finger and you can't get it over the knuckle part, or is it actually stuck in the skin), I'd suggest a trip to the ER to get it off!. Wrap dental floss around your finger tightly!. This will compress the finger enough to get the ring off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
