Question: Stuck in bed and feeling really ill!?
I'm stuck in bed with a really bad headache!. My head is throbbing and it feels like my head's got a heartbeat if that makes sense!. I feel terrible and my eyes are really sore!. I have headaches all the time but this time it really kills!? I feel really dizzy too and abit feverish and faint and weak even though I haven't got a high temperature!. I need to do loads of other things and homework but I just can't because I feel so bad and when I get up I just need to sit down again because my head kills and I feel so weak!. And I have my usual sore neck and shoulders that I have all the time and it just all adds up and feels horrible!. And I'm really tired but I just can't sleep!. I just feel so bad and I need to do loads of things and I feel sort of stressed!. What can I do to feel better!? And any ideas of what I have!? Or is it just a really bad headache!? Aw hun, this sounds like a migraine!. The worst head pain in the world, with dizziness and lack of control over body temperature are common symptoms!.
Stress is a common trigger for migraine, even if you haven't had one before, so don't panic!.
What you need to do is see the doctor!. I know it's late in the day on a Friday, but you need medication because this could last for days!. There are options other than tablets which will help!.
Ring your GP NOW and see if you can get in, or if they can give you a home visit this evening - there will be an OOH doc who can do it if they can't!.
If you really can't get there or they can't get to you, then ask someone to get to Boots or a chemist asap, and buy some of the following:-
Migraleve - yellow AND pink
Imigran
Travel sickness tablets
The migraleve are painkillers with anti-nausea meds in there!.
Imigran is seriously strong migraine medication which knocks you out!.
Travel sickness tablets will make you feel less queasy!.
You can't take all three together, but you could take Migraleve on it's own or the Imigran with the travel sickness meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to see a doctor!. if you have a really bad headache with a stiff neck, then you could have meningitis which can be very serious indeed!. Is your neck too sore to for you put your chin on your chest!? Does it hurt to look at a light!?
