Answers:
That all depends on your age, if you are in good shape and how you land!. 1!.2 meters is about 4 feet which gives you very little cushion if you don't land just right!. I would not even recommend jumping out of a second story window into a 4 foot deep pool unless it was an emergency!. If you hit the wrong way you can sustain severe injuries and even death!.

They make fire escape window ladders that hook onto the window frame that would allow you to climb down from as high as 5 to 6 stories!. You can find it at Amazon!.com for under $300, or under $100 for shorter ladders for a two story house!.

When I was young and stupid, I once climbed into the rafters at an indoor pool to untangle a bungee cord that we set up to goof around with!. We got it stuck!. We had to remove it before our boss arrived next morning!. I was up about 20 to 23 feet and dropped into a 6 foot pool!. I hit the bottom pretty hard but was able to absorb the impact with my legs!. I could have been seriously hurt!.

Now a stuntman could conceivably do it from a pretty good height without getting hurt but for the average person even 8 foot jump could lead to serious injury and possible death!.

Hope that helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're thinking of jumping out a second or third story window, I don't advise it!. Pools generally are not right up against buildings!. Even though it LOOKS like you can make the jump, the reality is the ground comes up very fast!.

Safer to have an emergency ladder you can unfurl out a window with quick or direct access to the street!. Ask your fire department for details!.
