Can MRI detect foot fracture?!

Question: Can MRI detect foot fracture!?
I had an accident, fell with dropping heavy machinery on my foot, AFTER taking an xray for previous non-accident pain in my foot!. The machinery fell coincidently right on the painful part of my foot, the inner middle part!. Now I had an MRI on my foot for the previous pain because xray was negative!. I am clumsy and fear my foot may be really fractured this time, but already have taken the x-rays!. Can the MRI detect fractures of any kind as a result from the accident!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, the MRI can detect fractures and bone bruises caused by accidents!. Your doctor will examine your foot and probably redo the x-ray first!. If that's negative then an MRI may be the next test he orders if you are still having pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
