Sounds like gout, Dude!. Try drinking pure black cherry juice!. Use the concentrate and cut it with water to break up the tiny crystals that form in the lower extremitiess!. If it's not gout, then the cherry juice certainly will not hurt you!. This worked for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible that it could be athlete's foot!. If it's pealing then it defiantly is!. But being swollen and red are also sometimes a sign of athlete's foot!. Call a pharmacist to find out what you can do for it and if they feel it's the same thing!. They're like a free doctor!. They give free advice within a legal realm!.

If it is athlete's foot then you can buy an anti-fungle cream and put it on twice a day for 4-6 weeks or if you feel better putting it on at night as long as it'll stay on all night you're fine!. If it happens often then you should try to air out your feet as often as you can to help minimize flairups!. Socks constrict airflow and if you wear socks at night you're doing more harm than good if it's that bad!. My 3 year old daughter has the same issue except hers also peel!. For her when she has flairups of athlete's foot she either wears no socks or very loose socks at night!. But she only wears very loose socks when the feet are semi-peeling, red, swollen!.

My husband has this on occasion as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Itchy and equally affected both sides = Athletes foot!.
Painful and on one side involving one joint = Gout, see doctor!.
Hot, red, painfull, spreading up the foot = infection, see doctor!.

Sounds like you've got Athletes foot, try Lamisil cream mixed with Hydrocortisone cream, relief is just around the corner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
