Damaged facial nerve, What can i do?!

Question: Damaged facial nerve, What can i do!?
Hey, I'v recently gotten back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan and 2 days before I was coming home we where going house to house checking for weapons!.!.!.we had to take the habitants of one of the houses outside because they where interfering!. The daughter wasn't listening so I walked over stuck out my hand she grabbed it and as we where walking into the kitchen the mom took an iron skillet and smashed it into my face, It broke my jaw, cheek bone, octicular, brow and templar bone!. The left side of my face ended up collapsing and i'v had 2 surgery's to deal with it, my face is fine but right now one of the nerves in my face is partially severed and the rest on the left side are pinched badly, I'v been getting extreme pain in my cheek, I also have burning sensations and its extremely hyper sensitive!. My doctor has given me some prescriptions for the pain but they are causing me to get sick and im always tired, they also make it so i can't feel any part of my body!. do you guys no of any natural maybe rub on creams to help and replace these drugs!?!?!?

Thanks, sorry for the length

First off Adrian Thank you for protecting our rights , thank you for doing such a noble job !.!.
There is not really any thing for the pain that you can rub on , you can try icing but due to the hypersensitivity I would say that is probably gonna cause more issues !.
You may wish to try a pain clinic and see if they can treat you for the nerve damage!. You may also need/want to consult a plastic surgeon and or a neurologist that can reconstruct the nerves that were damaged , What they may do is give you shots of lido or something to reduce the amount of issues !.!. I am not sure there is any thing that will help this and it may well be a permanent issue you will have to live with unfortunately
As for the meds never take them on an empty stomach try taking with milk and toast or tea and applesauce , or 7 up or something like with crackers , or try taking them at meal time !.
One last thought is that there is a lido cream that you can rub on this is rubbed on to the area that needs pain relief and is available by perscription only !.!. That may help some !.!.
After reading your update you do need to see a neurologist for this issue
Again I thank you for your service to this country God bless youWww@Answer-Health@Com

that happened to my dad, he had to get surgery!. but his was paralyzed, but he just let it heal naturally!. take some vicoden or motrin!? also, i guess you could try vitamin e oil, or coco butter because that will reinforce the elasticity of the face!. if you want to deal with it naturally, the important thing is to get the blood flowing around that area, so apply moist ice, or heat packages!. you can also get a jaw supporter at a drug store, and eat lots of liquids, like apple sauce, and foods that don't require much jaw activity!. that should alleviate some of the nerves back!. also consider sleeping with a towel, and on your back because your whole face is resting on your jaw when you sleep on your side!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
