What is it like to work in the 3-11 shift in a nursing home for a CNA!?

3pm- 315 usually get report from prior shift
315-400 toileting,answer lights, pass linens, and ice
400-500more toileting, repositioning of patients, and getting ppl up for supper
500-600 pass trays, feed patients, transport to and from supper
600-700 toileting, answer lights, repositioning, provide direct cares for patients wanting to go to bed, showers
700-900 repositioning, direct care putting people to bed
900-1000 repositioning, toileting, still putting ppl to bed
1000-1100 rounds or check and change,take out linens and garbage reposition patients, paperwork
direct cares- include sponge baths, brushing teeth, lotion, powder,creams etc!.!.!.
repositioning- turning a patient that is in bed to prevent sores
rounds- go back through rooms to make sure linens are picked up garbages emptied patients clean safe and dryWww@Answer-Health@Com
