Is my appendix in trouble?!
Question: Is my appendix in trouble!?
I just started to get pain when I'm sitting down and i cough, my right pubic area hurts pretty badly!. It also feels like i have really bad gas in my stomach but i don't know if thats it!. Also the right pubic area appears to be slightly swollen!.!.!.!.at least higher up than the left!. Should i seek attention!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be your appendix but from your description and location it is probably an inguinal hernia!. It could be your appendix but either way yes you do want it looked at because it can cause you considerably more discomfort if you let it go!. If it is your appendix by some stretch of the imagination and it bursts !.!.!.!. in simple terms you could die!. Feel around your right pubic area and compare it to the left!. If you suffer "point tenderness" then that just confirms a problem exists but only medical personnel can make the definitive diagnosis!. Here is another link that might be useful!. Appendicitis,the most constant signal of appendicitis is the order in which symptoms occur:
Pain-usually first around the belly button or just below the breast bone, only later in the right lower quarter of the abdomen!.
Nausea or vomiting or at the very least, loss of appetite!.
Local tenderness in the right lower quarter of the abdomen!.
Fever ranging from 100 degree F to102 degree F!.
Diverticulitis, usually hurts in the left lower quarter of the abdomen!.
If the pain is very severe or if bleeding from the bowel occurs, see a doctor!. Similarly if there has been a significant recent abdominal injury, see the doctor- a ruptured spleen or other major problem is possible!. And good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Irregardless of the information you get here, if it gets worse, if you get more symptoms or if it continues for more than 24 hours then get medical attention asap!. There are far too many things that can go wrong, so getting prompt attention will be important is you are still having problems tomorrow!.
