I've started wetting the bed again. What do I do?!

Question: I've started wetting the bed again!. What do I do!?
I was a bed wetter until I was 16 years old, when suddenly it just stopped happening!. I went from like, an accident almost every night, to barely having one ever!.

I saw several doctors about it, but nobody ever really knew why I wet the bed!.

I have had the occasional accident (maybe 3-5 a year) since then, but suddenly it has come back almost nightly for the past 2 weeks!. I am 21 now and I don't know why this is happening!.

I've also always had a bit of incontinence!. For example, if I laugh too hard, or if i sneeze or cough really hard, I sometimes accidentally pee a little bit!.

Any suggestions!? I'm going to see a doctor soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The doctor will probably prescribe some medicine to help your bladder or I know there is some type of alert thing they use on kids to help them stop!. I would not drink water after meal time, like if you are thirsty take a small drink but don't fill glasses!. Always try to go to the bathroom before you go to bed!. You probably already know this but get a plastic sheet for your mattress and a washable pad that goes in between the plastic sheet and your normal sheet so that way when it does happen at least you just have to wash your sheets and not worry about the mattressWww@Answer-Health@Com

Seeing a doctor is your best bet!. You'll probably get prescribed DDAVP or something similar, a synthetic form of a hormone which causes your body to retain water (stop you from peeing)!. As far as the laughing/sneezing/coughing, that's probably normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

son had same problem growing up!. dr!. said because he was such a deep sleeper!. when he stayed overnight i had to tell parents that he was a bed wetter so parent(s) would know Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't drink too much water like, 2-3 hours before you go to sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com
