What does food poisioning feel like?!
Question: What does food poisioning feel like!?
Yesterday, I had a meal at a restraunt!. now today I feel extremelly ill, I feel like being sick and have a bad headache along with bad pains in the stomach!. I think its food poisioning but i've never had it so I dont know!. can you tell me what it feels like!?

I had salmonella poisoning a few years ago, trust me, you wouldnt be able to sit and type if you had something serious, sounds like a normal tummy bug!.
With food poisoning, like salmonella etc, you get the screaming shits and vomiting, terrible stomach cramps that double you over with pain, and you feel like death!.
Its not an experience I would wish on anyone, it was the second most painful thing ive ever experienced, only being beaten by childbirth!.
Probably best to lay off food for a day, rest, drink water to keep hydrated, when you start eating again, avoid dairy and spicy stuff, and you should be ok in a day or so!.
There are a lot of the tummy buigs going around at the moment, I work in a pharmacy and have had loads of people coming in with similar symptoms!.
You can buy things to ease the nausea, but they taste absolutely vile, and may well make you feel more sick just from the taste!

There is basically 2 types of food poisoning,,the first is where food which has not been cooked properly or is rotten will be thrown back up and you will suffer a little all over illness,the Second is worse,food may contain toxins that will be within the food and will hatch out within you and cause diarrhoea,headaches,stomach ache,muscle aches and in very rare cases death,if you have food poisoning it should pass within either 24 hrs or up to 3 days,the amount and toxicity of the toxins will affect the time it takes to pass through youWww@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like you could have food poisoning,a bad case of it would have you on and off the toilet too!.!.
It is important that you call the restaurant ask for the manager and let them know!.They will need/want to know if something they have served is off!. There is a good chance other will have called too!.

You probably have the flu!. That same thing happend to my husband and I last week!. We ate out and the next morning he had to come home from work and I didn't even go!. We spent all day and night sleeping in bed!. There is a bad bug going around right now!. I went to the doc and that is what she said it was!. You will be vomiting, and have diarhoea, and you will get VERY dehydrated!. You wont be able to eat without throwing up!.

As soon as you eat something you want to throw up (perhaps a few hours after eating), then/or you may have diarreagh, stomach cramps and feel awful, Www@Answer-Health@Com
