Answers:
I had gastric band surgery 5 years ago and have lost 12 stone!. Since I have lost the weight, I no longer have back or joint problems and my athsma is more controlled!. I was contantly at the docs when I was big, now I go around twice a year!. I paid for my operation, but to answer your question, yes I do think it should be on the NHS but only in severe obesity cases!. Obesity is an illness - people do not want to be that weight!. It causes huge health problems, stress and depression!. If they could easily follow a diet, then they wouldn't be that big to begin with!. However, I do feel that this should only be offered after counselling concerning their need to overeat and of course, following a very well observed diet, with help at hand 24 hours, a bit like those who go to smoking cessation clinics!.
Breast implants - well, yes I do in certain scenarios!. If a person has been to the doctors on numerous occassions with low self-esteem issues because their breasts are making them miserable!. However, again, I feel that counselling should be given first, and as having small breasts do not cause the illnesses and stretches to the health service, they should only be provided in SEVERE cases!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, because obesity is an illness, like breaking a leg etc!. No one in this world wants to be fat, and if it was that easy to loose weight no one would choose to be FAT!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
