Why do my calves hurt when i walk?!


Question: Why do my calves hurt when i walk!?
im trying to lose weight, so im walking but after a few minutes my calves really do hurt, should i stop or push my self on!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure your alignment is right and you have proper shoes on!. Check if you have flat feet!. Also, there are many websites on proper running form!. Even if you are just walking, it is important to make sure your body is moving correctly or you can induce worse injuries and pain!. If walking isn't the right thing for you, try jogging, biking, aerobics, jump roping, swimming, etc!.

DO NOT push a painful injury thinking it is results!!! That's how you get shin splints and back pain and bad posture!. There is a difference between being sore and being in pain!. Soreness should happen after lengthy exercise!. Immediate pain is not right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you calves are tight because they may not be used to the activity your are now doing!. Make sure you strech before and after you go on walks!. To do this put your toes on a step and put weight on your foot so that your heel drops bellow your toes, and stand upright!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
