Exactly what does the physical therapy expression, "flat foot weight bearin!

Question: Exactly what does the physical therapy expression, "flat foot weight bearing" (FFWB) mean!?
Answers:
Teresa is right!.!.!.it means no weight can be transmitted through the foot, but it is encouraged for the foot to be flat as it makes contact with the ground for balance!. This is in contrast to TTWB (Toe Touch weight bearing) where one the "toes" are used for weight bearing!.!.!.it's been argued that this puts a lot of force through the hip when you hold up the hip to touch the toes to the floor!. People who've had hip pinnings are often made FFWB!.

I do not like this term because it is not descriptive enough to elude to how much weight should be transmitted!. Rather, I think the term TDWB (touch down weight bearing) is more descriptive and is still in contrast to TTWB!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
