HELP soccer career at stake.?!

Question: HELP soccer career at stake!.!?
Okay about 2 months ago a defender slide tackled me and it turned my ankle!. I couldn't play for the rest of the week do to the pain!.

I didn't see the doctor because i iced and rested my ankle for about 3 weeks!. After that period it was okay and i ran my cross country sectional meet!. Notice how my foot didn't hurt when i ran!. A week later i played in a soccer game and shot the ball and where i hurt it a month ago started intensely hurting as before!.

It hurt for two days afterwards!. Then i saw the doctor and she tried to find the problem but when she moved my foot around nothing hurt!. I played another soccer game recently and when i kicked the ball in the same place the same pain happened again!.

HELP anyone!. tyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm going to take a guess and say scar tissue!. An MRI would confirm that there is no structural damage!. I sprained my ankle very badly in April and there are still large amount of scar tissue in my ankle!. I reinjured it playing soccer in the fall and now the pains back, but the MRI confirmed nothing is wrong besides a little inflammation!. MRI's are expensive, but if you hurt your ankle playing for your school team the school has an insurance company!. Have your coach fill out an accident report and the insurance company will cover all the fees!. I had $20k reconstructive knee surgery and my parents paid about $200!. It's great!. Anyway, I'd have to recommend you rest for the time being, G-d forbid there actually is a torn ligament or tendon that the doctor couldn't pick up on!. So you know though, sometimes badly sprained ankles can take months, so the three weeks you gave it might have been enough for running, but not enough to be able to endure force i!.e!. kicking a ball!. I hope I'm making sense to you!. well, good luck!. Hope this helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
