Is it true if you crack your knuckles eventually it will give you arthritis?!
Question: Is it true if you crack your knuckles eventually it will give you arthritis!?
Answers:
The answer is a "probably not" based on an article by Peter Bonafede, M!.D!., medical director of the Providence Arthritis Center at Providence Portland Medical Center!. He says that so far no definite study appears to show a direct connection between the two, but he can't rule it out 100%!.
However, studies HAVE shown that people who crack their knuckles a lot do run the risk of pulled tendons and accidentally dislocating fingers (or toes if that's what you're cracking) along with weaker and/or swollen hands over time!.
According to Dr!. Bonafede, cracking is the noise that happens when you stretch the joint, making an air pocket in the synovial fluid that cushions the area!. Stretch it far enough and the air bubble makes a sound when it pops!. Repeatedly doing this stretches the ligaments, making them potentially looser as you get older, leaving you prone to more injuries overall!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not true, it removes tension!. You may lose your grip for a few weeks if you do it a lot!. When you notice that just stop for a while!. Only do it when you really need it!. I do it 3 times a day!. That's fine, and to be honest people should release the tension in your fingers every now and then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
