Yes, it's normal!. Mine really hurt and felt hot to the touch!. It's a normal reaction to a foreign object in your body!. It will stop hurting within a few days!. Keep it clean with peroxide!. Yes, it will be sore for a good while, mine hurt for like a week and then it was just a little pain but eventually went away!. Just keep cleaning it and all that so it doesn't get infected!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
