Question: QUESTION:Pain Meds Addiction!?
OK, I have been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia (2006) and have been taking lorcett 10/650 ever since!. I don't use it for a buzz or anything, but if I don't take it!.!.!. I feel physicaly very awful, I get emotional, and have a hard time sleeping because of spasims in my limbs!.!.!.!. it really sucks!
Could I be addicted!?!? Has anyone else gone through this!?!?

Answers:
it seems to me that you have a physical addiction but not a mental addiction to this drug!.The physical addiction explains the spasms in your limbs and the feeling ill--the emotional aspect you talk about isnt a side affect of the addiction persay but you get emotional because of the physical illness your feeling and the spasms!. The reason i dont think you are mentally addicted is because you asked the quesiton here witch implys you are aware of whats going on most addicts whom are mentally addicted only think about there next fix rather than how they react when not on them!.They are aware of the withdrawl symptoms but dont dwell or ask others about them!.!.It sounds to me that you can recover esily from all of this simply by not takeing them anymore-after a few days or weeks you will no longer have the physical illness or spasms in limbs in a sence you need to detox fully before your physical ailments go awayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Lorcet is a mild to severe pain reliever containing acetaminophen (Tylenol) combined with other drugs to work for your pain better!. If you feel you cannot control the usage anymore then tell your doctor so he/she can wean you off the pill and on to something easier to take, You shouldn't go "cold turkey" it could harm you!.
Then after it's over get to a pain clinic if you need constant care or see someone that can really help!. To many doctors to find it to easy to keep writing prescriptions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you're addicted!. all drugs are addictive!.

if you don't want to be dependent on this drug anymore, switch to a drug with a different active ingredient (i!.e!. ibuprophen vs!. acitominophen)

or just stick with this one, as long as you can't have any long-term effects from it!. you should be okayWww@Answer-Health@Com
