Question: Are candles bad for your eyesight!?
i enjoy looking at the lil flame on a candle because it makes me feel all warm inside well im playing computer but i have it right infront of me so is it bad for my eyesight or something if im looking at the computer screen well the candles infrotn of me =O!? like maybe some gas fumes from candle going up and into my eyes or something =PWww@Answer-Health@Com

Candles are bad for your eyesight if you try to read by candlelight!. Reading by candlelight puts extra strain on your eyes as there is not enough lights to show the words clearly!.
Also, hot wax is bad for your eyes!. Don't pour hot candle wax into your eyes!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shouldn't be if you wear contacts then maybe be concerned about the fumes (and sprays from deodorant etc!.) The only bad thing is straining your eyes if your in a darkened room with the candle but it's not as bad as looking at a computer screen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The computer screen is actually worse than the candle but if the candle is your only source of light also than that's not good for your eyes at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's no worse than looking at the flashing ads on your computer!. These have been proved to cause seizures in some people!.

I don't think that candlelight is bad unless you are trying to read by using it!. That causes eyestrain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
