i have not had strep in like 6 years and i barely rememberr the strep test!. does it hurt!? im kind of nervous because someone is going to stick something down my mouth! plz answer! thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

It doesnt necessarily hurt but it is an uncomfortable feeling!. Just remember its a quick swab and the test will tell if you have it or not!. And then u will be put on some antibiotic treatment!. Wish you all the best with this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They take a culture test of your throat, that means they take a long q-tip type tick and swab the back of your throat!. It only takes a second and no, it does not hurt at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
