Answers:
Stop reading and go have someone look at it!. There are several things that it could be, but without looking at it, it is really hard to tell!. If the only thing that hurts, is that spot itself, and only when you've been pressing on it, it is probably not a tumor!. Tumors also have other things that go along with them, and you haven't really mentioned any of them!. Compression fracture of that area would be extremely unlikely!.

Other possibilities!.
Lipoma - chunk of fat under the skin
Spine - the spinous processes stick out like big hard lumps

See a chiropractor who takes x-rays!. Then you will know what it is and you can stop worrying about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not a calcium deposit!. The way you describe it, it either sounds like a growth, or some scar tissue!. Were you injured in that area!? Anyway it warrants investigation by a medical doctor, that is the only way to correctly diagnose what you have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its probably a calcium deposit, the doctor can check it and break it up if that's what it is!. So relax, they are common!Www@Answer-Health@Com
