Question: Can you take too much Gaviscon!?
Doctor has told me to take Gaviscon liquid to help ease a burning sensation in my gullet! The only problem is an hour after a take the recommended dose it starts burning again!

There are no harmfull drugs in Gaviscon, it's just an antacid, you would have no problem taking it hourly until your bottle is finished, but if the symptoms are still there you should go back and see your doctor!.
The only side effect would perhaps be an in balance in your digestion!.
Zantac is not stronger than Gaviscon, it it's whats known as a H2 blocker and prevents your stomach producing hydrochloric acid, it's used more for the treatment of ulcers rather than an antacid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes you must not overdose!. You need to find out why you have this symptom not just cover it up!. Go back to you doctor and get some tests done to find out the cause of the heartburnWww@Answer-Health@Com
