Blood pressure continuously going up..... ?!

Question: Blood pressure continuously going up!.!.!.!.!. !?
I've tested mine a few times now!. I tested it earlier as ive had it high before and keep regular checks!.

ATM it's 168/94 and it keeps elevating!. I've had a few cups of tea today and my lifestyle at the moment is a bit messed up to say the least!.

I just wonder why it's suddenly going up - yesterday it was perfect, 123/79!. Why is it suddenly rising rapidly!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a number of things that are elevating your blood pressure!. Just thinking about it while you are taking your blood pressure can make it rise!.
Granted 168/94 is considered hypertensive, the fact that you had a blood pressure yesterday of 123/79 probably means that your environment is playing a part in the increase!.
Is the tea you drank caffeinated!? If it is, that is usually a reason why it was higher than the last time!. Especially if you drank it recently and then took your blood pressure!.
Plus, you mentioned you are having some difficult times right now - that can spike your blood pressure (BP) as well!.
My advice to you is to take your BP in the morning when you wake up!. Try to avoid caffeine if you are planning to take your BP within a couple of hours b/c caffeine makes your heart beat faster and can result in increased BP!.
Also, try to relax a little while you are preparing to take your blood pressure, meditate or think of a relaxing place like the beach!. I usually tell my patients to relax on the couch and watch a little tv, put the blood pressure cuff on their arm and then get lost in the tv show for a little while, once they feel relaxed they can take it and try to remain calm and relaxed while their BP is taken!. Just closing your eyes and trying to think about your "happy place" (like Happy Gilmore) can give you more accurate results!.

I hope this helps! If you do indeed continue to have higher blood pressures than normal, you should seek the advice of a physician!. Good luck, and I hope everything works out! Best Wishes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The Anxiety factor may cause sudden rise of Blood pressure ,you may have measured your BPincorrectly possibility can not be ruled out, your self monitoring of BP is good but get it confirmed by physician, there may be error in instrument as well as measurement method so go to physician in cool and calm mood and at least three reading should be taken to diagnose your rise of BPWww@Answer-Health@Com
