It sounds to me like you never fully addressed your problems before so you are vulnerable to them cropping up again at the next 'stressor' such as this current problem!.

The best thing to do is to nip this in the bud!. You need to have a long hard think about why you feel the way you do in response to this situation!. Are you interpreting it correctly!? Or are you putting a negative, self-depreciating spin on it!? Making yourself the bad guy or making things seem worse than they actually are!? It is common for those who self harm +/- low self esteem to take burdens onto themself which do not belong to them if you get me!.

Once youve thought about what REALLY happened (not what you THINK happened- there's a big difference!) try to think about how things are better and different now!. You're better now and have been doing really well to stop hurting yourself!. Dont be too hard on yourself about this incident, it isnt easy to stop years of programmed self-destructive thoughts and behaviours!. If you feel you can talk to the person honestly about what happened you may see their side of the story and see how it might not be worth you hurting yourself over!. If there's anyone else you can talk to about this it will help you rather than keeping it inside or taking it out on yourself physically/emotionally, all the better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Donna,
Roma here,
What I'd try and do is make your hands or whatever else busy, I'd also try and list all your good points and think about that!.
Or simply think of a place where you've been really happy and go to that place whenever your feeling angry or whatever!.
Hope this helps and good luck

newsweek did a really great story on it, look on newsweek's website and search for why she cuts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you go make an appointment to see a Psychologist!.

I am sure wherever you live there is more then one Psychologist!. You may have to see a couple before you actually find one you like!.!.!.!.!. They can't help you WANT to get better, you are going to already have to have that
mindset when seeing them!. What you get out of counseling, is going to be how much work you put into it yourself!.

If nothing else, you probably should be asked to be put on medication!. Such as Prozac!.

Lol, fine keep that attitude!.!.!. As you can see it helps you OH SO MUCH! Right!?

Yeah, I guess it does if you keep your same mindset!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i went to quite a few counselors before i found one i like!. honestly i hated most of them!. and some were just ok, not great!. but i did find one i like!. she's really nice!. i hate going to counseling but i've notice it helping after a while!. i've noticed just being patient and consistent and also honest with your therapist (once you find a good one) helps a lot!. if you want more thoughts, let me know!. what helped me is finding the real reason that i felt i had to cut and then working on that!. Also, staying busy has helped me and reading good, uplifting books!. part of it is self confidence!. you need to love your body!. sounds weird, but its true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what your saying!.!.!.says you know its not right, you dont have to cut, you know thats not the answer so dont do it! Cutting doesnt solve anything!.!.!.!. just makes you drown yourself in your own tears!. /You have to talk to someone else!. Dont listen to what other people say that you dont like!.!. your better then that, and your friend!?-ignore her!.!.!. this person doesnt deserve you if she makes you paranoid and unhappy!. I used to cut when I was 15, and Im 19 now and I know I shouldnt have ever cut because it didnt do anything except make me feel more pain and I have to stay with the ones I love!. Live for yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
