Answers:
Actually tingling is associated with the nerve being injured and usually it indicates that it is trying to heal!. Most people regain almost completely normal sensation in these type of injuries, but sometimes there is some mild permanent loss of sensation!.

One thing you should check though is to make sure your splint is not too tight!.!.!.that can cause a similar effect from squeezing the blood vessels and nerves!. And if that is the case it not helping your healing process!.

In referance to above!.!.compartment syndrome is exremely rare and I have NEVER seen it in a fingertip injury!.

This could be a sign of a very serious issue called Compartment Syndrome!. This is when an injured limb swells beyond its normal size and begins cutting off blood supply!. Without proper treatment immediately, this could result in permanent loss of feeling or motion!. I would recommend calling your doctor soon and describing your symptoms!.

However, if this is not the issue, than you could have Nerve Damage!. Once after injuring my finger and experiencing a tingling and numbness sensation, my Doctor said that it was only damaged nerves and they would heal themselves!. And he was correctWww@Answer-Health@Com

i broke my figure!.!.!. well more tore it off, but i had tingling in mine, but i snapped two nerves!. have you let your doctor know!? i think you should!. but you would think they would have noticed!.

and thats ok :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
