I had my 2nd ear piercing about a year ago..?!

Question: I had my 2nd ear piercing about a year ago!.!.!?
FYI, I wear real gold earrings!. Whenever I take them out and put them back on after about 2 days!. My ear starts to burn really bad!. The hole tightens and it feels like I'm getting a piercing all over again!. What is wrong!? Shouldn't it be healed after a year!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First of all don't use peroxide or alcohol they cause the hole to close from outside first which is BAD!. get some solution from an ear piercing place even walmart has it!. and use Stainless Steel earings until it heals!. then try the gold again and if it reoccurs you need better gold or don't use it at allWww@Answer-Health@Com

Do you put disinfectant on your earrings every day!? I think maybe some people's earlobes heal quicker than others, before when my mom took out my earrings she put fake earrings in my ears to keep the holes open, my friend said she doesn't need to 'cause she said that she didn't wear earrings for more than a year and her earlobes didn't heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have this too!.!.!.14 carat my not even be good enough!. I wear Indian gold!.!.22 carat!. It helps with irritation but my ears will practically close if I don't keep earrings in and I have had my ears pierced for over 15 years (second and third holes that is) my first ones I had since I was a baby and they still close up I have to poke my eearings through the skin sometimes!. But try 22k gold!.!.it may help with irritationWww@Answer-Health@Com

You could be allergic to the gold!. Or it might be gold-plated and the plating is flaking off in your ear!. I would try a different type of earring, they have sensitive ones and nickel-free ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you might be allergic to gold!. try using rubbing alchohol and rub year ear holes!.!. that will help a lot!. ohh and instead of gold try real silverWww@Answer-Health@Com
