Question: How can you tell if a toe is broken!?
All of my toes point straight up, but one of them is at a 45 degree angle, swollen, and hurts to the touch!. It's been this way for about a month!.

I have broken my toes many a time!. The hospital will do nothing for it, however, if you put cotton wool in your shoes it is much less painful to walk!. Also tape your sore toe to the one next to it for support!. Put cotton wool between the two toes!. The toe if it broken itll be purple, blue very soon after the initial impact!. Often the joint of the toe will be very sore to touch!.

When your toe is broken, it usually looks misshapen, possible like an s shape!. It might have a lump that hurts when touched!. Also, after a while a broken toe will likely turn a purplish black color!. Hope this helps =PWww@Answer-Health@Com
