Question: Exactly what kind of physical therapy would a person thats been in a coma get!?
Im writing a story that involves a woman getting hit by a car which puts her in a coma from a massive head injury!. How long do you think she would be in a coma!? And what kind of physical therapy would she get when she woke up!? Also, how long would she have to stay in the hospital after she woke up!? I appreciate any help i can get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A massive head injury could put someone in a coma for months, weeks, or days!. If months the muscles begin to atrophy and will require physical therapy (weeks) to build them back up!. This is best case scenerio, in most cases of head injuries that bad, they will have mental deficiepts like speech, memory, or motor control, this in most cases take months if not years!.
