Question: How can I counteract the extreme nausea I get from vicodin!?
I just got my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday and it hurts like a *****!. I was taking the prescribed vicodin but it made me vomit all night and day which in turn hurt my mouth even more!.(i think something is wrong with the stitches!.) I was taking benadryl but it didnt help with the nausea!? Anyone have any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't take the vicodin on an empty stomach, or ask the doctor for something different like percoset or demerol!. Your gums will heal up in 3 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Vicodin can cause nausea, it's pretty common!. Try taking an over the counter pain med such as Alleve etc!. It will not cause the nausea like the narcotic does!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take ibuprofen instead of Vicodin!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and rinse with salt water very very gently, which will toughen the gumsWww@Answer-Health@Com
tell your DR there too strong, and there making you sick and ask for Tylenol 3's or motrin 800 or go buy a bottle of motrin and take 800mgWww@Answer-Health@Com
