Question: Can a bruise be fevered!? If so why is it fevered!?
I went skating last week and fell on my knee 5 times!.!.!.!.!.!.when i got home it was swelled!.It has been swelled since last week and i went to the doctor!.They took an X-Ray and it wasn't chipped!.but when I got home it was hot!.What could this be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
When you injure yourself your body has a localised inflammatory response to the area affected!. This is normal and actually helps the area heal quicker!. FYI, Anti inflammatory drugs actually reduce this response which is why they are so effective in treating pain!.

Applying ice 15 mins on then 15 mins off for a few hours can reduce swelling, heat and prevent bruising!.

Your knee is inflamed!.
Put ice on it in a plastic bag,ever so often!.
You can take some Advil or Ibuprofen for the pain!.
Get as much rest as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes usually when a joint is swollen it has a fever!. This is caused by the great amount of fluid built up in that joint!Www@Answer-Health@Com
